Currently for one of our Client we are looking for:

INTERNATIONAL MILK SUPPLY AREA MANAGER

Context

The company is a dairy industry leader with 70,000 employees and €16 billion in sales. The Group is present all over the world and has a widely recognized name. The Company is specialized in the development of dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurts). One of its strength is the capability to adapt to different markets with a particular focus on local producers and consumers. Based on an efficient Raw Material Procurement Process, the Group wants to increase its position on international markets. In order to reach this goal, the Milk Procurement Direction is creating a new role of an International Milk Supply Area Manager M/F.

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Group Procurement Director, your main tasks will consist in:

  • Networking with local milk Collection Responsible by deploying and adapting core model in order to secure the Group milk supply.
  • Sharing good practices and organization advices in order to improve Supply-Chain Management and to bring economical support to local producers.
  • Managing independently the defined Area by organizing milk collection according to specifications of producers. 
  • Taking into account the producers economical and social zone specificities in order to adapt Group supply-chain actions. For that kind of attributions, you work in partnership with local General Manager to significantly improve societal development.

This position is based in France and requires many travels (60%). The specific area will be defined later according to your geographic affinities and by considering the potential complementary with current other International Area Managers.

Profile:

  • Food Engineer, Agricultural Education, Business Administration Diploma or equivalent.
  • Close proximity with the agricultural environment, preferably with the dairy sector. 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the field of agricultural development, sales positions for agricultural supplies, either on a collection manager position for agricultural raw materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (leadership, managerial qualities, sense of negotiation and persuasion, sales capacities)
  • Rigor and organization
  • Candidate with an international experience: English required, third language appreciated (Spanish)
  • Autonomy, pragmatism, implication and simplicity.
