Currently for one of our Client we are looking for:
Global Manufacturing Technology Engineer
Location: Home base (global)
Position:
- Responsible for the technology aspects of developing, implementing and optimising worldwide industrial processes that are manufacturing starches & spray dried products
- Providing leadership in food safe process design and engineering requirements
- Utilising technical process expertise to advise on technology implementation of policies, standards and procedures
- Partnering with functional leadership (a.o. Engineering, R&D, Food Safety and Quality) to implement the design and development requirements for manufacturing technology
- Defining and monitoring manufacturing technology performance metrics and goals to assess effectiveness as well as overall business impact
- Partnering with operations leaders to assess and develop the technical competencies of line management, process engineers and operators
- Initiating and executing projects and activities contributing to the innovation, improvement and efficiency of process technology at Cargill’s global manufacturing locations
- Reporting to the Manufacturing Technology Area Leader
Profile:
- BSc or MSc degree in a technological or technical direction
- Senior and relevant work experience in industrial processing, process technology and engineering of starches and/or spray dried products
- Actual knowledge about food safe process design and engineering requirements
- Capable to provide leadership in a way that manufacturing technology guidelines and best practices are used at the various global manufacturing locations
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects within set targets and time frames
- Comfortable working and travelling (30 – 50%) in a global business environment and maintaining close connections with manufacturing plants and other relevant stakeholders
- Personal skills: analytical, helicopter view, pro-active, convincing, well organized, independent, results driven and networker
